1. Scope
These Data API Terms govern your access to and use of the Flipzi Data API (the “API”), offered through the RapidAPI marketplace. They supplement, and are in addition to, the Flipzi Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. By subscribing on RapidAPI or making a request to the API, you agree to these terms.
2. Access & Keys
Access is provided through RapidAPI. You subscribe to a plan and authenticate with your RapidAPI key (sent in the X-RapidAPI-Key header); RapidAPI routes each request to the API. You are responsible for keeping your key confidential and for all activity under it. Keys may not be shared, resold, or transferred, and you may not attempt to access the API other than through RapidAPI.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Exceed, evade, or attempt to circumvent plan rate limits, quotas, or feature gating (for example, by rotating keys or accounts).
- Scrape, mirror, or systematically download the catalog or price dataset in bulk beyond what your plan’s quota permits.
- Use the API to build a product whose primary purpose is to redistribute or resell Flipzi’s raw data (see §6).
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the API or the underlying data.
- Misrepresent the source, freshness, or accuracy of the data to your own users.
4. Rate Limits & Quotas
Each plan has a per-minute rate limit and a hard daily quota measured in units. A single-card, catalog, search, or meta call costs one unit; a bulk call costs one unit per id requested. Quotas reset at 00:00 UTC. Requests that exceed your limits receive a 429 response with a Retry-After header. Current plan limits are described on the Data API page and enforced by the API.
5. Data License
Subject to these terms and payment of any applicable fees, Flipzi grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access the API and use the returned data within your own product, service, or internal analysis. Flipzi and its licensors retain all rights in the data, catalog, and API. This license does not transfer ownership of any data.
6. Redistribution & Resale
You may display and use API data inside your product for your end users. You may not bulk-redistribute, republish, sublicense, or resell the raw dataset (for example, offering a competing data feed, a downloadable dump, or a mirror of the catalog and prices) without a separate written agreement with Flipzi. Caching for performance within your product is permitted, provided it respects response Cache-Control headers and does not become a redistribution channel.
7. Attribution
Where you display prices sourced from the API in a user-facing product, we ask that you attribute the data to Flipzi (for example, “Pricing data by Flipzi”). Attribution requirements for specific plans, if any, are set out on the applicable marketplace listing.
8. Availability & Changes
The API is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. We may add, change, deprecate, or remove endpoints, fields, and plans. We aim to version the API (/v1) and to communicate breaking changes, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific latency, or the accuracy or completeness of any price.
9. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or revoke your access, with or without notice, if you breach these terms, exceed your plan in a way that harms the service, or use the API unlawfully. On termination, your license to use the data ends and you must stop making requests; cached data must be handled in line with §6.
